1. Who is responsible for your information

ALIV Studio is a brand operated by Maria Kilian, a sole trader registered in Poland.

For ALIV Studio’s processing of personal information, the data controller is Maria Kilian.

Address: ul. Olchowa 18, 76-200 Słupsk, Poland.

Email: hello@aliv.studio.

You can also contact us through the Contact page on this website.

Payhip and payment providers also process personal information for their own services, as explained in their respective privacy notices.

2. Information we collect and how we use it

Purchases and order support

When you purchase a product, we may receive your email address, product and order details, transaction information, and any name or billing information supplied during checkout.

We use this information to support delivery, answer order-related questions and handle purchase requests. The legal basis is performance of a contract or steps taken before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) where the relevant contract is with us. Where a purchase is governed by a contract with Payhip, our processing for order support is based on our legitimate interest in assisting customers who purchase our products (Article 6(1)(f)).

We also process information to meet applicable accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(c)), and where necessary to prevent fraud or establish, exercise or defend legal claims (Article 6(1)(f)).

Payments are handled by the payment providers available at checkout. We do not receive your full payment card number.

Contact and enquiries

When you email us or use our Contact form, we process the contact details and information included in your message to respond and follow up.

This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing customer support (Article 6(1)(f)), or on contractual and pre-contractual steps where the enquiry concerns a purchase (Article 6(1)(b)).

Please avoid sending sensitive health information through our forms or by email. General product and order enquiries do not require medical details.

Withdrawal requests and complaints

If you submit a withdrawal request or complaint, we process the information needed to identify your purchase, assess the request, respond and fulfil applicable legal obligations.

This may include your name, email address, product details, purchase date, order reference and correspondence.

The legal basis is compliance with applicable legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)) and, where relevant, our legitimate interest in resolving requests and documenting their outcome (Article 6(1)(f)).

If a request form is hosted by an external service, that service also processes information in accordance with its own privacy notice.

Email updates, discount codes and promotional offers

If you choose to subscribe to ALIV Studio emails, we process your email address and subscription preferences to send educational content, news about our products and services, discount codes, special offers and other promotional updates.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Subscribing is optional and is not required to purchase a product. Buying a product or contacting us does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.

We use MailerLite to manage subscriptions and send these emails. This involves sharing your email address, subscription preferences and relevant consent records with MailerLite.

You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting hello@aliv.studio. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew consent.

Website operation and analytics

Our website is hosted on Payhip. The platform may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device details, and cookies or similar technologies needed for security, checkout and website operation.

Where this processing is carried out for ALIV Studio, it is based on our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Article 6(1)(f)), or on contractual necessity where appropriate (Article 6(1)(b)).

If you consent to optional analytics through the cookie banner, Payhip may use information about visits, pages viewed and traffic sources to help us understand how the website is used. Our legal basis for optional analytics is consent (Article 6(1)(a)).

For more information about cookies and available choices, please see our Cookie Policy.

3. Who receives your information

Depending on your interaction with ALIV Studio, information may be processed by:

  • Payhip, which hosts the store and supports checkout, order management and digital delivery;
  • Stripe and any other payment provider selected at checkout;
  • MailerLite, where you subscribe to our emails;
  • our email service provider, which handles correspondence;
  • an external form provider, where we use one to receive requests;
  • accountants, professional advisers and service providers where necessary for their work.

Some providers act on our instructions, while others process information as independent controllers for their own services.

We may also disclose information where required by law or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Provider privacy information is available at:

Payhip: https://payhip.com/privacy

Stripe: https://stripe.com/privacy

MailerLite: https://www.mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy

4. How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose:

  • Order, accounting and tax records are kept for the periods required by applicable law.
  • Routine enquiries are normally retained for no longer than 12 months after the last exchange, unless further retention is necessary for an ongoing matter, legal obligation or dispute.
  • Complaint and withdrawal records are retained for the period needed to fulfil legal obligations and establish, exercise or defend claims.
  • Marketing subscription information is retained until you unsubscribe or we discontinue the mailing list. We may retain a limited record of consent or withdrawal where necessary to demonstrate compliance and prevent further unwanted marketing.
  • Technical and analytics information is retained according to the applicable platform settings and retention periods.

Information processed independently by Payhip, payment providers or other services is subject to their own retention practices.

5. International transfers

Some service providers may process personal information outside Poland or the European Economic Area.

Where a transfer by ALIV Studio requires safeguards under GDPR, we use an applicable adequacy decision or another legally recognised transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses.

You may contact hello@aliv.studio for information about safeguards relevant to your data. Providers’ linked privacy notices also explain their international processing practices.

6. Your rights

Subject to the conditions in applicable data protection law, you may have the right to:

  • access your personal information;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • request deletion;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • receive certain information in a portable format;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw consent at any time.

You may object to direct marketing at any time. We will stop using your information for that purpose.

To exercise your rights, contact hello@aliv.studio. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity before responding.

You may also lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in Poland (UODO), at https://uodo.gov.pl, or another competent supervisory authority.

7. Whether you need to provide information

An email address is necessary for digital delivery and order-related communication. Other information may be required for payment, tax purposes or to handle a particular request.

Without the information necessary for a purchase or request, it may not be possible to complete it.

Providing information for marketing subscriptions is voluntary. Declining or withdrawing marketing consent does not affect your ability to purchase products or receive order support.

8. Automated decisions

ALIV Studio does not use your personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Payment providers may conduct their own fraud prevention or transaction checks, as described in their privacy notices.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers or data practices change.

The current version will be available on this page with its update date. Where legally required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before introducing a new use of your information.

Cookies and similar technologies

ALIV Studio's website is hosted on Payhip. Cookies and similar browser storage help the store work, including security, checkout, remembering choices and delivering digital products. Payhip sets and manages these technologies as the platform provider. For Payhip's detailed explanation, see https://payhip.com/cookies-policy and https://payhip.com/privacy.

This store uses the cookies needed for its operation. We have disabled Payhip's optional analytics tracking for this storefront. We do not currently use our own advertising pixels. If that changes, this policy and the available consent choices will be updated before optional tracking is enabled.

The cookie notice on this site explains available choices. Essential cookies needed for the store to function may still be used if you reject optional cookies. You can also restrict or delete cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or downloads from working correctly.

For questions about our use of cookies, email hello@aliv.studio. For Payhip's own processing, see its linked policies.
